I am a member of a community on line for moms called cafemom and I happened across one group there that was for families in need. I thought this was a wonderful thing. It kind of has families write their needs and other families donate what they have and back and forth. So I thought maybe I would encourage others of you to look into doing something like this in your area. I wonder if craigslist would do something like this, not just the free stuff but where parents could make lists of things they need or want (in my group the limit is 5) and then there are lists of things parents are willing to give. Of course people are always searching both lists to see if they can help someone else or if they can use what someone else has. I don’t know I just thought with the holiday’s coming it would be wonderful if everyone had the opportunity to participate in something like this. The group is currently locked for parents in need until there are new angels willing to adopt families but if you are willing to adopt a family it would be greatly appreciated.
