I have been living here for five years and as the years go by I can’t help but notice that there is a reason for the stereo types of the “ghetto”. Believe me not everyone in these apartments are bad by no means but there are always a few bad seeds and they seem to ruin the reputation of everyone here. It gets to the point where I am embarrassed to let anyone know where I live. I can only think of maybe four people in the 37 apartments in the complex that do drugs and or have the cops here regularly. People drive by and see the cops here again and think we are all trouble making trash. Well I want you all to know that just isn’t the case. I see many families here struggling to make ends meat no matter how hard they try and it’s only getting worse the more the economy hits these lows. Most of the people here are trying to get on their feet because no one wants to live in the projects! Remember that the next time someone tells you they live in a low income place we aren’t all bad.
